The crazy student with a wedding mid-semester! - Yes that's me! How am I going to do it? I don't know. It is the start of week 3 now, and to be honest, I am freaking out slightly!
On Thursday however, I had the privilege to sit down and talk to this lovely lady who runs the study support part of CHC. She helped me revise last semesters work and realise just how much I had actually accomplished for a first year! Then we looked over what assignments I had coming up and I'm going to create a timetable of when to start and complete drafts and final results by so that I don't have to stress because I can visually see what I need to do before when. - Sounds good for the moment, lets see if I keep on track!
But one thing she said which really helped me get things into perspective. - I am only going to have one wedding, one opportunity to have a wonderful time with Adam and my family and friends! I can study anytime, and it doesn't matter if I don't 6's or 7's or if I need to resubmit something or if I need to even redo a whole unit. The real focus this semester is Adam and I, and our wedding and a good start to our marriage. And yes, that means no study books on the honeymoon!
God has given so many people strength and courage throughout history, I have no doubt I will get through this semester just fine. My goal is to keep Him first, Adam second, and then my studies will happen just fine - that's my prayer anyway.
